ESSENTIAL HOLIDAY INFORMATION
We specialise in providing holidays for the independent traveller who does not want a package deal. Our holidays are aimed at the traveller who does not feel the need for pampering by tour representatives or arranged outings that cost the earth. Most of our clients just want a good holiday at a reasonable cost without being pressured into extras which they do not require.

We will endeavour to make your holiday as stress-free as possible. However, should you encounter any problems, please ask the local rep immediately for help. Dont wait until you get home to complain when it could have been rectified at the time. Please show respect for other peoples property.  Most of our accommodation is privately owned, even those within large complexes. We would be grateful if you would report any breakages or malfunctions to the rep thus ensuring that maintenance is carried out. Please read the following carefully as it provides the basis for any agreement between you and Canarian Dreams International .

 

FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS
Flights can be arranged on your behalf at competitive prices through flight companies that are ATOL bonded . Sports equipment can be carried subject to airline acceptance.

 

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY
Should you or any member of your party cancel your booking once it has been accepted, we will require written instructions from the lead name on the booking form. The effective date far any cancellation will be the date we receive it at our office. If you cancel, a cancellation charge will be levied as per the chart below:

 

More than 42 days Deposit only
29 - 42 days 50% of total booking charge
22 - 28 days 60% of total booking charge
1 - 21 days 100% of total booking charge

 

Your holiday insurance will cover cancellation providing you have a valid reason which meets the insurance policys criteria. Insurance premiums are non-returnable. We insist on our clients having holiday insurance. If you do not choose our recommended holiday insurance, you must arrange a policy which gives comparable or better cover under all sections. Should you arrange your own insurance we will need to know the insurers name and policy number.

 

IF YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR BOOKING
If you wish to change any details of your booking we will do our best to help. Please note, all alterations excluding flights carry an administrative charge of £20. Alterations to flights are dealt with under the flight company's conditions of booking.

 

TERMS OF BUSINESS
Reservations can be made over the telephone and confirmed only upon receipt of the signed booking form. Failure to receive the signed booking form prior to departure automatically invalidates any claim that may arise from your holiday. A deposit is required at the time of booking of 50% of the total cost of the accommodation plus all the insurance premiums. 

INCLUSIVE COSTS
All prices shown are per week, per apartment/hotel accommodation. Seasonal adjustments as shown. Prices include electricity, water, bed linen, maid service and all free facilities provided by the relevant complex. Arrangements for a maid service and linen changes vary from resort to resort. For clarification ask at the time of booking, and any services required over and above those normally provided will carry additional charges made payable at the resort.


In unforseen circumstances, we reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation, usually of a higher standard, but at least equal to your accommodation booked.

 

MISBEHAVIOUR
We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to terminate without notice the holiday arrangements of any customer whose behaviour is such that it is likely, in our opinion, or that of the resort management to cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to other customers, property or any other third party. under such circumstances we will be under no obligation whatsoever to offer refund or compensation of costs you may incur. Under no circumstances are you entitled to sub-let your accommodation with anyone other than those persons shown on your booking.


Canarian Dreams International has built its reputation by providing an excellent personal service to suit the individual. Our aim is to provide a happy, carefree and memorable holiday which you can recommend to your friends.

 

BUILDING, CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIRS
Builders and noise are almost unavoidable in some developing resorts. Unfortunately such developments are not under our control nor do we receive advance notice of when builders will begin. However, where we are aware of any works which may be thought to adversely affect your holiday, we will advise you as soon as possible. Where necessary we will endeavour to offer you alternative accommodation.
As you will appreciate, building work is often carried out by third parties over whom we have no control. Furthermore they are frequently intermittent and we may only become aware that they are taking place when they actually commence. Unless building work is being carried out by our own suppliers or sub-contractors, we regret we cannot pay any compensation or otherwise accept liability even if you are offered alternative accommodation, if available.

 

WILDLIFE AND INSECTS
We cannot be held responsible for mosquitoes, ants and other insects, which are common in warmer climates; nor can we be held responsible for aggravations such as dogs or cats roaming around the resorts or late night noise.

 

CAR HIRE
We have made arrangements with a reputable car hire company to provide pre-booked car hire. This is most advantageous as by paying in sterling before you depart, you know the exact cost before you leave. The car provided includes CDW insurance, local taxes and unlimited mileage. We do not, however, operate the car hire companies and only act as the booking agent whether or not the car is included in an inclusive price. You must satisfy yourself as to the rental conditions, insurance and condition of the car before taking delivery. Note that unlike the UK, the cars are not delivered full of fuel.

 

EQUIPMENT IN VILLAS AND APARTMENTS
When you book a privately owned property with our Company, every precaution has been taken to ensure that the villa/apartment is to the standard described in the brochure. Some owners have installed electrical appliances such as televisions, microwaves, etc. which are for your additional convenience. We cannot, however, accept responsibility for the availability or functionality of any such equipment. On the same note, the owner may change the inventory of the property by adding or removing items without notifying ourselves. We cannot be held responsible for these changes.

 

RURAL PROPERTIES
Unlike the traditional complexes and hotels, a number of our properties are in the countryside, either isolated or in little undeveloped villages. Each of these country villas are cared for by Property Managers or owners who make every endeavour to ensure your stay is enjoyable. It must be remembered, when booking this type of property, that services such as water and electricity will not be as reliable as in the resorts. A number of villas are located along unmade roads which is quite common in the Canaries and adverse weather conditions, although rare, may also have some effect. The Company and their Agents do not accept liability for loss of main services such as electricity or water supplies, nor for the actions or omissions of the Property Management who may control supply of main services, nor any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which there is no control. The sub-tropical countryside is also the habitat of a variety of animal life from insects to goats and the occasional camel, all of which are normally harmless and commonly accepted.

 

REPRESENTATIVES ABROAD
The Company has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that all representatives used by them abroad are reputable. The Company does not however have direct control over such organisations and shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions by them or their employees.

 

NUMBER IN PARTY
All accommodation is booked only for those persons named on the booking form.
No other person may use the accommodation without the prior permission of the Company.

 

BROCHURE DESCRIPTIONS AND CLAIMS
All our property descriptions are obtained from respected sources and distributed in good faith. Canarian Dreams does not hold itself liable in respect of any shortcomings, claims, matters, obligations, liabilities, injuries or losses arising from the booking except where and to the extent such arises from the proved negligence.
In some cases of complaint you will of course have rights against third parties or your Insurance Company.

 

SPECIAL/SPECIFIC REQUESTS
You must inform us at the time of making your booking of any special/specific requests which you may have so that we are able to make arrangements, as far as reasonably possible, to cater for them. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cater for all special/specific requests. We may have to make a charge to meet the costs of providing them. Please note that such requests do not form part of our contractual obligations and we have no liability to you if they are not met.
We reserve the right to change prices as and when is necessary.
