Fuerteventura ... for the Beach Lover
Fuerteventura is the nearest of the Canaries to the coast of Africa. It is the second largest island and boasts an abundance of beautiful golden sandy beaches which attract many visitors.

Inland, there are a scattering of small villages amongst impressive volcanic surroundings. Corralejo, originally an old fishing village, is located on the northern tip of the island.
It has a good and varied selection of bars and restaurants whilst maintaining much of its old character. It is well known for its excellent windsurfing conditions and hosts many competitions.
The resort of El Cotillo lies on the north west coast and is a small fishing village with some of the best seafood restaurants in the Canaries. The beaches north of the town boast the tranquility of quiet lagoons, perfect for children and naturist sunbathers whereas to the south, conditions are perfect for surfing and windsurfing.
