Lanzarote is fast becoming the place to fly in Europe throughout the winter months. There are many sites facing virtually all directions giving optimum conditions for the experienced pilot.

Famara ridge

A two thousand foot mountain with easy access to the top and excellent bottom landing with fantastic views of the sea and neighboring islands.

At Famara we have excellent accommodation for all pockets from village apartments, detached bungalows and even luxury villas with their own heated swimming pools ideal for the family.

Macher

Another gem with easy access and good bottom landings. Again great sea views across to Fuerteventura.

Accommodation here is in villas with pools at Macher and at Asomada.

Mala
Yet another great site situated just behind the dam and again with good sea views over Arrietta.

Accommodation can be in apartments in Arrieta or in villas and apartments at Charco del Palo

which is about a 5 mins drive. Charco is a clothes optional resort with good restaurants, pools and the chance to get that all over tan.

For more experienced pilots the north of the island at Mirador del Rio offers a vertical take off of over 2000 ft and overlooks the island of Graciosa.
